We started Rapportive because we wanted to communicate personally with people. Lots and lots of people. It turns out we weren’t the only ones: users adore Rapportive, and pump over 20 million lookups through our systems every month. We’re now looking for a talented developer to join the team. Could it be you? Read on!
Rapportive is solving a very big and important problem. We are changing the way that companies interact with people.
People are no longer willing to put up with bad, impersonal service, and so companies are increasingly competing on interacting personally with everybody they deal with. To do this, companies need to track many channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and more) and many tools (support, email marketing, user feedback). But how can they track them all?
Others are building tools which try to bring everything together in one place. But why would you want to learn yet another application? Rapportive unifies everything in the one application which absolutely everyone uses: email.
Rapportive is fast-paced, adored by users, and funded by all-star investors. We launched in March, and already serve over 20 million lookups per month. Our investors include Y Combinator, Gary Vaynerchuk, and Paul Buchheit, the creator of Gmail.
As first employee, you will shape the future of email. Let’s show the world how it should be.
You’ll join a young, bright and talented team that's driven to succeed.
We believe that people fulfill their potential when they're happiest, so we are creating a fun environment where we can all excel. We love to do our best, and to learn how to do better.
Every company has a lodestone around which it revolves. For us, it’s our unwavering dedication to user experience. We go to lengths which others would consider extreme. We believe that if it's better for users, it's not over-engineered.
We love beautiful products, and we hope you do too.
We are looking for a talented developer to join the team.
You’ll work on our core Gmail product and our backend infrastructure.
You’ll prototype new features, and deliver production code. You'll instrument for analytics, and architect for scale. You’ll provide users with what they want, and delight them with things that they could never imagine.
You create beautiful code, and polish it until it makes you happy. You take pride in your craft: you relish learning new technologies and honing your skills. You convey ideas and code with clarity and ease. And most importantly, you are fun to be with, both at work and at play.
Take a look at our open source contributions to see the quality of our code.
